I created Japan Food & Culture Guide to share my experiences exploring Japanese food, culture, and travel across the country.

Many travel guides focus mainly on Tokyo, but I’ve discovered that some of the most interesting food and cultural experiences can be found in regional cities and local neighborhoods. Through this blog, I share the places, dishes, and cultural moments that make Japan so unique.

My goal is to introduce authentic Japanese food culture and everyday experiences that travelers might not always find in typical guidebooks.

Living in Yokohama

I’m based in Yokohama, a historic port city located just south of Tokyo.

Yokohama has a long international history and a diverse food culture influenced by both Japan and the world. Living here gives me a great base for exploring different parts of Japan and discovering regional dishes and local traditions.

From Yokohama, I travel to other regions to experience local food and culture, and I share those discoveries on this blog.
